Young performers to show talent on stage

Martin Music young performers (from left) Taegan Evans, Erica Byars, Jaelyn Scully, all 9, and Hazel Evans, 6, will be taking part in the Kids Gone Country event at the Bayleys Tussock Country music festival this weekend.

Riversdale musician Kayla Martin will host the event at the Gore Town and Country Club on Sunday at 11am.

Martin said the event was for performers aged between 4 and 17 years old.

"I would encourage parents [or] kids to make contact with me beforehand if they would like to sing in this."

Everyone was welcome to come to the event and "watch these talented youngsters shine on stage".
