Southlanders can now go shopping and get their cars cleaned at the same time.

The team at Espresso Car Wash are excited to bring their service to Invercargill Central.

Owner Ankit Beniwal said the location in the car park off the Tay St entrance in the city’s new mall was convenient for Southlanders.

"We’re in a great location because you can drop your car off and we’ll have it washed by the time you're done shopping at the mall."

He said a wash would take from half an hour to two hours depending on the work required.

Mr Beniwal said Invercargill Central was welcoming of their business because there was nothing like it available.

The service would provide a detailed 100% hand wash for the cars at a competitive rate with options for exterior and interior washing.

After its opening last week, lots of Southlanders were already taking advantage of the service's range for options from an express wash to a supreme groom.

Invercargill Central was the 17th location for Espresso Car Wash around New Zealand.

A wash could be booked online or by phoning in.
