1. Favourite rugby memory?

Probably beating Wakatipu for the White Horse Cup in, I think, 2017. Really special. It wasn’t the strongest Maggots team in years or anything. I don’t know if people expected us to go up there and beat them, but we managed to get the job done.

2. Hardest opponent?

Jacko Clark, from Cromwell. He’s always a good competitor. Plays hard but also plays the game in a good spirit.

3. What rugby player do you look up to and why?

Owen Franks. Just a good front-row man who gets through his work and does the job.

4. What do you do to relax?

I enjoy a bit of diving. I like to get down over the east coast and sometimes down to Dunedin. I chuck the old fins on and do a bit of free-diving.

5. If Matt Sullivan is cooking, what are we eating?

Definitely a roast. Probably a nice lamb roast with all the roast vegetables.
