Shrouded in mist

Trees on Heyward Point Rd gather a few rays of sunshine as fog swirls around the hills lining Otago Harbour yesterday morning.

Port Otago chief executive Kevin Winders said the fog caused minor delays at the port yesterday.

An lpg container ship and a fishing vessel were delayed for a couple of hours, he said.

MetService has forecast low cloud this morning, lifting by noon.
