Octagon extravaganza a family-friendly countdown

New Year’s Eve celebrations in the Octagon will reach dizzying heights this year, with mesmerising aerial performers and a midnight laser show sure to delight.

Running from 6pm until midnight, the family-friendly event will feature live music, food stalls and a great line-up of local bands.

The evening’s concert will start at 6pm with Kadodo, followed by Keira Wallace at 6.30pm, Les Marionettes at 7pm, Bulletproof Convertible at 8pm, and Bo & the Constrictors at 9pm.

The spectacular Bird of Peace aerial show will be a spellbinding change of pace, from 9.55pm-10.10pm.

Headline act Loose and Colourful will then get the crowd dancing until the countdown to midnight, when the revellers will be treated to the much-anticipated laser show.

For safety reasons, personal fireworks and alcohol are not permitted.
