Archery club content with turnout target

More than 50 hopeful Robin Hoods took advantage of the Dunedin Archery Club’s annual "have a go" day yesterday.

Covid restrictions meant numbers were slightly down on the last time the club held the event, event co-organiser Mara Wolkenhauer said.

"There were just under 60, last time we were closer to 80, but it was a great turnout given the waiting time some of them had," she said.

"Despite the weather, we thought that was a great turnout."

The club hosts recurve, compound and crossbow archery, and offers beginner’s courses and regular club sessions at its Chingford Park grounds.
