Ms Wilkinson said preparations for the day were going well and they were on track to meet the demand they would face today.
Although the red rose was the traditionally romantic flower, she had focused on fresh local flowers, such as dahlias and hydrangeas. There was a wide range of colours and bouquets ranging from deep and romantic to pretty and pastel.
Stock was collected on Thursday to ensure there were enough fresh flowers and all pre-orders were made up yesterday and there would be plenty of sales throughout the day as well.
Valentine’s Day was an important celebration and she hoped everyone would embrace it.
