Bruce Springsteen, Roger Waters, Coldplay, Madonna and Taylor Swift are among the artists nominated in the 2012 Billboard Touring Awards.
Flight of the Conchords are up for top comedy tour alongside the US ventriloquist Jeff Dunham and English stand up comedian Michael McIntyre.
The folk-comedy duo played smaller venues in Queenstown and Nelson before selling out Vector Arena three times during their New Zealand tour in June and July.
They went on to play in Australia, including two sold out shows at the Sydney Opera House.
The Black Keys were nominated for the Billboard Breakthrough Artist award, fresh off their show at Vector Arena on Saturday.
Legendary rock artists Springsteen and Waters are the favourites in the top tour and top draw award categories.
