A man has died after crashing his car into a tree in Rangiora this afternoon.
Police attended the accident, in Coldstream Rd, about 2.20pm but the 49-year-old man died at the scene.
He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Police say the crash may have been as a result of a medical condition.
The matter has been referred to the coroner.
