Rugby: Pumas name unchanged side

Argentina have retained the same starting XV to face the All Blacks on Sunday that went close to pulling off an upset victory over Australia in their most recent Rugby Championship test.

The only changes in the 22-man squad see the introduction of prop Marcos Ayerza and lock Tomas Vallejos on the reserves bench, replacing Juan Pablo Orlandi and Leonardo Senatore.

The Pumas let slip a 19-6 lead over Australia a fortnight ago as the Wallabies piled on 17 points in the last 20 minutes to win the game 23-19.

Argentina will host the All Blacks for the ninth time on Sunday, having lost seven of the previous eight encounters. A 21-all draw in 1985 is their best result.

The last time the two nations played in Argentina, in 2006, the All Blacks escaped with a 25-19 win.

Argentina team to play the All Blacks at La Plata on Sunday: Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino, Gonzalo Camacho, Marcelo Bosch, Santiago Fernandez, Horacio Agulla, Juan Martin Hernandez, Martin Landajo, Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe (capitan), Juan Manuel Leguizamon, Julio Farias Cabello, Patricio Albacete, Manuel Carizza, Juan Figallo, Eusebio Guinazu, Rodrigo Roncero. Reserves: Agustin Creevy, Marcos Ayerza, Tomas Vallejos, Tomas Leonardi, Nicolas Vergallo, Martin Rodriguez, Juan Imhoff.
