The day, Thursday, August 30, was a good choice, Keiran said, because the living wage campaign was being held in Wellington.
Parliament also held a conscience vote that day on the legal drinking age.
Keiran would like to "be in politics" and has plans to study politics, history and possibly a language at Victoria University next year.
