Eat, drink and be massaged

A bright red Lamborghini Gallardo coupled with Champagne, canapes and mini-massages will be on offer for the public from midday today in a luxury lounge in Queenstown's Earnslaw Park.

The temporary luxury lounge will give people the chance to get out of the snow and into the warmth over the next four days.

Set up as part of the resort's winter festival, the lounge will be available for all members of the public to relax in. They can also have their photograph taken with the Lamborghini Gallardo.

Spark Proactive account executive Josie Tapper said the lounge would bring a taste of luxury to Queenstown.

"There will be complimentary Champagne and cheeseboards, as well as complimentary eforea massages from staff at the Hilton," Ms Tapper said.

Also included is a chance to win spot prizes to be given out to the public, with the Lamborghini Gallardo being part of a big jackpot.

George FM will be there to DJ today.

The lounge will be open until 6pm, and will be open noon-6pm daily until Saturday.
