Dunedin City Council community pools team leader Matt Austin said the pool was "packed" with children enjoying the event.
"The weather was excellent.
"It was great, the kids were loving it."
A barbecue, games and prizes were available.
The annual pool party was part of a series of pool parties. Others were held at the Mosgiel Pool and the Port Chalmers Pool in December.
The summer pool party series will return next year.
