The stablemates Paramount Geegee and Flying Isa are set to extend winning sequences at the Australasian Breeders Crown series at Melton tomorrow.

Trained at Cambridge by John Dickie, the pair were triumphant at the Harness Jewels meeting at Ashburton in June.

The 2yr-old Flying Isa has won his last seven starts and eight from 11.

Paramount Geegee has won his last six. He missed the Victoria Trotting Derby after being injured working at Alexandra Park on June 24, the night he was declared the winner of the Breeders Crown heat in a walkover.

He won the Breeders Crown race at Melton 12 months ago.

He has won four group one races and $461,886. Flying Isa is a group one winner who as amassed $137,315.

Flying Isa was successful against 2yr-old pacers in a trial at Kilmore on Tuesday in a 2.01.6 mile rate for 2180m (mobile). Paramount Geegee finished a nose second in a heat for pacers won in a 2.05.1 rate.

Robbie Holmes continues his association as the driver of the stablemates.

• The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club meeting scheduled for Addington on Tuesday has been abandoned due to insufficient entries.
