Tidewater Dr residents were spared further flooding yesterday.
The Harwood area was affected by high tides and gusty winds on Tuesday afternoon, but while later high tides arrived, gusty winds did not.
Portobello Senior Constable Lox Kellas said while one resident had a sleepless night after tens of thousands of litres of salt water flooded sections, there was no further damage to the area yesterday.
Contractors had cleaned up almost all the debris in the area, he said.
