One person has been arrested after an armed police raid on an Invercargill home.
A police spokesman said there was a routine, planned search warrant at a property in Shannon St about 7am today.
One person was arrested, but at this stage there was no information about what charges were laid.
A person in the area at the time told the Otago Daily Times the Armed Offenders Squad had been called to the property multiple times in the past year.
They said there was often a lot of activity inside the home late at night through to the early morning.
