A The show is a series of works by esteemed Auckland choreographers. All the pieces are duets and so it is inspired by the idea of the `other' and the search for that in humanity. Humanness, wildness, eroticism, exoticism, separation and loss are all explored.
Q Why will Dunedin audiences enjoy it?
A Because it is innovative and presents things they are almost certain to have not seen before. A lot of the technological aspects of the show are very unique. There are some exquisite moments of beauty, technical brilliance and quirky eroticism, as well as a lot of humour.
QWhat do you know about Dunedin?
A Plenty. And also plenty I don't know. My mother grew up in Dunedin. I used to come down here for the dance party scene and to be involved in the student craziness in the past. Last year I was here with a burlesque show and some of us went to the albatross colony for the day.
Q What makes you laugh?
A Probably the singing robot undressing scene in Lightspeed Love. Also the male modelling training session.
