Highlanders rugby players Jackson Hemopo (left) and Dan Pryor made a surprise appearance at a Brockville School photo shoot celebrating Matariki, at the Meridian mall yesterday.

They are pictured with Anahera (10) and Malachi (9) Folimatama.

Brockville pupils had black-and-white or sepia tone photographs taken of themselves dressed in clothes their great-great-grandparents may have worn, as part of a fundraising venture, Nga Ra O Mua (Days Gone Past), which is aimed at reminding children of the past.
