Five people were treated for minor injuries after a two-car smash in City Rise tonight.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Russell St and Arthur St at 7.50pm following a two-vehicle collision.
A police spokeswoman said bystanders and other motorists helped those injured until police could arrive.
A crew from the Dunedin Central Fire station and two ambulance crews from St John also attended.
The road was blocked but a tow truck had been called.
Technicians from Delta were also called to inspect a power pole which was hit during the crash.
