McGlashan celebration

Attending a morning tea at John McGlashan College yesterday as part of the school’s centenary celebrations are (from left) Alistair Wright (pupil 1952-60), of Warrington, principal Neil Garry, Gerald McDouall (1941-47), of Whanganui, Glynne Smith (1942-56), of Ranfurly, and his cousin Sir Julian Smith (1952-61), of Dunedin. 

The morning tea was the last event of the weekend’s celebrations which attracted more than 600 former pupils and staff and included a golf tournament, a cricket match between the First XI and a team of former pupils, and a celebration dinner at the Dunedin Town Hall on Saturday night.
