The widow of Waipu fireman Andrew Scotland (34) - who died alongside Argentine instructor Gerado Bean (27) while hang-gliding near Frankton last year - is glad the indecision is over after a coroner granted an inquest into the deaths.
Pauline Scotland said the inquest was scheduled for December 8, 21 months after the March 2009 accident.
