Defending champions Kalynn Park and Charley Thomas are looking good to go back to back with a fine start at the Winter Games mixed-doubles curling tournament in Naseby.
The Canadians are joined by Estonia at the top of pool A after the weekend with Korea sitting top of pool B with a perfect four wins to start the tournament.
Current mixed-double world champions Martin Rios and Jenny Perret, of Switzerland, have not had the best start to the tournament winning only one of their three matches.
The Swiss almost had the best of Kristin Moen Skaslien and Magnus Nedregrotten, of Norway, in their first game of the tournament, but the Norwegians were able to grab victory with the last stone of the match.
It was a mixed start for the three New Zealand teams of Scott and Bridget Becker, Ben Smith and Jessica Smith and Eleanor Adviento and Brett Sargon.
The young Smith siblings are the pick of the New Zealand teams so far, winning two out of their four games.
