God Send, a top prospect in race 3 at Alexandra Park tonight, joined the stable of Mark Purdon and Grant Payne on Monday after being bought by Sydney owners.
God Send was a last-start winner at Alexandra Park on August 6 for Cambridge owner-trainer Wayne Anstis.
It was the fourth win for the Bettor's Delight-Hurricane Dancer 3yr-old colt who had his other three wins as a 2yr-old.
Purdon will drive God Send tonight.
God Send has been bought by trainer Kevin Pizzuto on behalf of other members of his family.
The same connections bought God Knows from Anstis.
God Knows, the winner of six races, was flown to Sydney on Tuesday.
God Knows won three races when trained by Anstis and three for Cambridge trainer David Kaa.
Pizzuto has won six races from 10 starts with the trotter Cyclone Jake, whom he bought out of the stable of Todd Macfarlane in May.
Cyclone Jake has won three at Harold Park and three at Menangle.
It is planned to leave God Send with the Purdon-Payne stable until the Sires' Stakes series final at Addington in November.
Anstis bought God Send privately from Canterbury breeders Lynn Hodgson and Brian West.
God Send is the first foal of Hurricane Dancer, a Christian Cullen mare.
Her second foal died and Anstis has just bought a yearling filly by McArdle from Hurricane Dancer.
Alan Shand has the drive on St Barts, the best-performed horse in the field for race 7, a restricted free-for-all tonight.
St Barts is eligible for the race through being driven by a concession junior driver.
Shand has driven three winners.
He has been working for the Waiuku stable of Michelle Wallis for the past four months after being based in Canterbury.
St Barts finished second to All Tiger at Alexandra Park on July 16 in his first start for Wallis.
The winner of 14 races when trained by Gareth Dixon, the entire was transferred to Wallis during the winter for a change of environment.
St Barts has had a workout at Alexandra Park on July 24 with Shand the driver.
"He just sat back and ran on for third [to Spy and He's My Hero]," Shand said.
Exceptional Cullen, a workout winner at Alexandra Park last Saturday, is among the rivals for St Barts.
Exceptional Cullen ran on late for third to Chesterton and Dead Calm at Alexandra Park at his last start on August 13.
The Tony Herlihy-trained gelding had won three of his four previous starts there.
