Get on board the bordello body bus. Cabaret performer Glitta Supernova, of Sydney, said the bus has stopped at Dunedin Fringe Festival for her show Body Map.
The pioneer of sexual performance art would be the guide on an "off-road body reality tour'' inspired by 1990s club culture.
The show was designed because the "personal highway to our soul was in gridlock''.
"Navigating who we are has never been tougher and access was blocked with the promise of beauty and perfection brought to us by the creators of the lie itself.''
The guide gave the passengers a warning.
"As I have not yet been appropriated, normalised or groomed into shame you'll be accepting some risk of objectionable, offensive, unlawful, deceptive or harmful content . . . an authentic human experience that's not been sanitised . . . there are no seatbelts or franchised locations - it's going to get bumpy.''
The physical comedy crashed into performance art through psychedelic, satirical, personal and political storytelling, she said.
Supernova was nominated at the festival last year for best in fringe and most outstanding performer for her show Let's get METAphysical.
The self-proclaimed "sex clown'' wants Dunedin residents to board the body bus "before it's too late''.
