He was bought by trainer Robert Dunn on behalf of Brent Williams and Martin Cummings, both of Christchurch, and Gary Woodham, of Wellington.
Brent is the father of Tim Williams, the junior driver with the Dunn stable.
Tim drove Better Than Money yesterday.
Brent has raced other horses with the Dunn stable and his father, Max, was a partner with Robert's father, Allan Dunn, in a hotel in Wellington.
Better Than Money was offered at RTR sale by Michael and Michelle House, who had bought the son of Bettor's Delight and Classic Ace for $25,000 at the premier yearling sale.
Classic Ace has also left Strip Poker (1.55.4) and Pocket Belle (1.54.6).
Dunn has six horses entered for the trials at Ashburton today.
They include Rider On The Storm, Barmy Army, Fiery Achiever, Lord Diego and Johnny Bravo.
Rider On The Storm won a trial at Rangiora last Wednesday.
"He developed a hock problem after he won the Franklin Cup in November and we turned him out," Dunn said.
"We are aiming him at the New Zealand Cup."
Rider On The Storm has won 12 races and he ran the 3200m in 4.02.2 in the Franklin Cup.
Dunn has trained the winners of 60 races this season, surpassing his personal best of 57 last season.
Lord Diego won at the Nelson meeting last month, advancing his record to two wins and two placings in five starts.
Barmy Army has won twice at Addington after joining the stable this season.
He was spelled in December.
Barmy Army won twice for Murray Edmonds.
He was gelded as a late 4yr-old.
The unraced Fiery Achiever was bought by stable clients after he dead-heated for first in a trial at Ashburton in April.
The Courage Under Fire-Smooth Achiever 3yr-old was previously with Charing Cross trainer Don Feast.
Johnny Bravo (three wins) was sidelined last November with a fractured pastern.
Family Photo, a trotting winner yesterday, was a $21,000 purchase by Jim Dalgety at the 2008 premier sale when offered by Roydon Lodge.
The 3yr-old daughter of S J's Photo and Ultra Violet is trained by Gavin Smith.
She is the second foal of Ultra Violet, who is by Sierra Kosmos from Sunbeam Song, a half-sister by Roydon Boy to top racehorse and champion sire Sundon.
