Protesters surround bus shifting migrants

Police officers scuffle with protesters who surrounded a bus that was to be used to carry migrants from a hotel yesterday in Peckham, London to a barge off southern England. Police arrested 45 people as dozens of protesters attempted to stop the bus from leaving, reportedly deflating its tyres and surrounding the vehicle. Protest groups have vowed to stop migrant removals by the Home Office from hotels and premises across the UK. The government passed the controversial Rwanda Bill last week and has set about detaining migrants ahead of deportation to Rwanda.
