A wide array of talent has been on show as participants chase their dreams of world record glory at this year's Impossibility Challenger in Hungary.

The event, which has been running for 26 years, offers entrants the chance to go for records in non-Olympian disciplines.

This year's edition, held in Budaors, near Budapest, featured attempts that included juggling bowling balls, tearing telephone books and double-kicking a football.

Other categories over the years have included balancing on a Swiss ball, juggling chainsaws, doing splits between two cars and fastest 100m on stilts with a skipping rope.

Less physically challenging categories have included memorising binary digits and reciting poems.

Participation in the event, which was held last year in Auckland, is free, but participants need to take care of their own travel and accommodation expenses.
