A mysterious photograph of a Dunedin woman found behind some peeling wallpaper may provide a revelation about a broken engagement.
Last week, a black and white 1940s photograph was found in a house in Kenmure, with the handwritten note "To Rene, with love Renee", by the house’s new owners.
There was speculation around the mysterious identities of both Rene and Renee by Otago Daily Times readers, and many sent emails with leads as to who they could be.
