The Invercargill City Council has defended the decision to water-blast the roof of the Southland Museum and Art Gallery during city-wide water restrictions.
Water restrictions banning all domestic outdoor water use came into effect on Sunday, leaving some residents questioning why the same rules don’t apply to the council.
