Where are they now?

BENE STEWART

2012: As well as being awarded a British Ballet Scholarship to the New Zealand School of Dance, Stewart had leading roles in his school’s Stage Challenge team and played piano, clarinet and tenor saxophone in its orchestra. He planned to study a  combination of chemistry, music, theatre studies and musical theatre.

2022: Stewart lives in Dunedin, where he is the supervisor of a national transcription department. He has science and music degrees, as well as a solo seal (ballet) from the British Ballet Organisation and an associate diploma (pianoforte) from St Cecilia School of Music. He still regularly plays piano and other instruments, has done some salsa classes and is a keen woodworker who has made various pieces of furniture.
