Where are they now?

 

HARRY JAMES

2012: Ranked sixth in the New Zealand junior tennis rankings, James had won the Otago Men’s Open Singles Tennis Championship and the South Island under-18 Indoor Championships. He was applying for tennis scholarships to study economics and finance at an American college.

 

 

2022: James works as an investment adviser for Forsyth Barr in Invercargill and is studying to become a chartered financial analyst. After going to Montana State University on a tennis scholarship, he gained a bachelor of science in business and was one of two people to be named Montana State's 2016 Scholar-Athlete of the Year, an award based on academic and athletic achievements. He later completed a postgraduate diploma in physical education and a New Zealand certificate in financial services. He helps junior tennis players in Southland and plays in regional senior events.
