A woman has been taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation after a house fire in Manukau this morning.
Fire crews were called to the Bokeen Lane home in Flat Bush at 3am.
The blaze is believed to have started in the bedroom and spread to the ceiling, fire communications shift manager Jarron Phillips said.
Two crews remained at the scene and a fire investigator was due to arrive shortly.
