Three men armed with shotguns forced their way into an Auckland house and threatened the occupants before making off with cellphones, computer games, digital cameras, jewellery and cash.
The men entered the property in Riverhead, northwest of the Waitemata Harbour, at 1am today, Detective Sergeant Phil Cox said.
They threatened the three occupants at gunpoint and demanded cash.
Soon after they left with a collection of stolen property.
No shots were fired during the incident.
The occupants alerted police and three men were later found in Ranui, West Auckland and were being interviewed by police.
Serious firearm and other charges may be laid.
