A fire has cause significant damage to the Linwood Library in Christchurch this afternoon.
The Fire Service received several calls about the blaze around 3pm.
No-one was inside the building.
This fire comes after a series of suspicious fires in earthquake-damaged buildings around the city.
Fire Safety is investigating the cause.
