A second man has died as a result of a house fire in Tokoroa on Tuesday.
The blaze at a Dalmeny St property started about 6.45pm.
Lance Aislabie, 57, died at the house and Adrian Robin Glenie, 47, was initially taken to Waikato Hospital with serious burns before being transferred to Middlemore Hospital.
He received surgery but died last night.
The two men were living at the address where the fire happened.
Post-mortem examinations on the men will take place today.
Police and Fire are continuing a scene examination this morning to establish whether the fire was suspicious.
