The holiday weekend road toll is now at three.
A 10-year old girl has died after being hit by a motorbike at Lake Rotoma near Kawerau last night.
The child was flown with critical injuries to Rotorua Hospital, where she later died.
Police enquiries are continuing to establish the cause of the crash.
A man died in a crash north of Auckland on Friday night, and a woman was killed near Tokoroa on Saturday.
