Police are asking help from the public to find offenders after two separate overnight sexual assaults central Christchurch.
In the first incident, a 21-year-old woman was driven to Peacock St at about 10pm where she was assaulted.
Detective Sergeant Jeremy Gunn said the vehicle was described as a shiny red sedan, similar to a Holden Commodore with a spoiler on the boot.
The car was also described as having a dark coloured interior.
Detective Sgt Gunn described the offender as a "Caucasian, aged approximately 30 years, with tattoos on his neck and on his thigh".
The second incident saw an 18-year-old woman sexually assaulted by three occupants in a white van at about 10.15pm on Friday.
The victim was able to get out of the van between 10.30-10.45pm on the corner of Armagh Street and Fitzgerald Avenue.
Gunn said she was driven around the central city while the assault occurred.
The victim is still to be spoken to at length and has given no further details about the vehicle or its three occupants.
