One person has been seriously injured after a gun was fired in central Auckland.
Police said they were called to Fort St just before 4am today after reports a firearm was discharged.
One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Cordons were in place on Fort St and Jean Batten Place while a scene examination took place.
