One person is dead and another injured after a single-vehicle crash in rural Canterbury yesterday evening.
The crash happened at Darfield the Old West Coast Rd/Redmonds Rd intersection and was reported about 5pm, police said.
Two people were in the vehicle. One died at the scene and the other was taken to hospital with moderate injuries.
An investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
