One person has died and two are seriously injured following a single-vehicle crash near Mount Cook today.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Mount Cook Rd (State Highway 80) about 12.05pm.
Police said in a statement one person had died and two other people were injured in the crash – one critically and one seriously.
The road was closed but one lane has reopened.
