A person is dead after their vehicle crashed through a fence in Christchurch this afternoon.
Police said they were called to the scene, on Copenhagen Place, Hoon Hay, about 4.45pm.
The victim, the sole occupant, of the vehicle, died at the scene.
Inquiries are under way.
