New Zealand cricket captain Daniel Vettori has put his entire collection of cricket memorabilia up for auction to raise money for the Christchurch earthquake appeal.

The collection includes keepsakes from his debut in 1997 and a shirt signed by Muttiah Muralitharan and Shane Warne - the greatest test wicket-takers in history.

It will join a host of sporting items, including signed shirts from the All Whites' World Cup campaign, Martin Crowe's 1992 cricket World Cup shirt and a 1987 rugby World Cup ball signed by the squad and management, being auctioned by Radio Sport on TradeMe.

The top bid so far stands at $5050 for a 2011 rugby World Cup jersey that All Black coach Graham Henry promises to be signed by the 30-man squad when it is named later this year.
