Police have asked for the public's help after a man used a stolen credit card to go on a spending spree north of Wellington.
Police said the man used a Raumati ATM at 4am on March 25, after he broke into a car in the area.
Detective Mike Stone said: "Around 3am on March 25 a vehicle was broken into in Kakariki Grove, Waikanae and a number of items were stolen, including credit cards.''
"About an hour later, one of the credit cards was used multiple times at the ANZ ATM in Raumati, outside a Four Square.''
Police have CCTV footage of the offender withdrawing money from the ATM, but have been unable to identify him
