Police in Wellington have arrested a man over an inner-city bashing that left another man in intensive care.
Detective Senior Sergeant Donna Howard said a 20-year-old man was charged with a Crimes Act assault and would appear in Wellington District Court tomorrow morning.
A 25-year-old Kapiti man remains in Wellington Hospital's intensive care unit in a serious condition following the assault in Tory Street at 3.50am last Thursday.
Police were still searching for two witnesses to the attack.
