State Highway 1 is closed north of Kaikoura after a truck rolled this evening.
Police said the crash, near the intersection with Clarence Valley Rd, was reported about 7.15pm.
There was no word on any injuries but both lanes of the highway were closed.
Police and Waka Kotahi said motorists were advised to avoid the area.
