A 10-year-old girl is in a serious condition after being hit by a car in Napier.
Police said the girl was struck by the car on Wycliffe St about 5.20pm yesterday. She was flown to Wellington Hospital in a serious condition.
The vehicle involved did stop and police spoke to the driver but they are now calling for any witnesses to come forward.
