Christchurch rattled by 4.2 quake

Christchurch was rattled by a magnitude 4.2 earthquake early this morning.

The 2.34am quake struck at a depth of 9 kilometres and was centred within 5km of Christchurch, GeoNet reported.

It was felt in Christchurch.
