A woman was seriously injured after falling from a wall near Knox Church in Dunedin in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A police spokeswoman said emergency services were called about 1am to the corner of Pitt and George Sts after a woman "had reportedly fallen off a wall".
St John spokesman Gerard Campbell said the woman sustained serious injuries and was taken to Dunedin Hospital.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand also assisted at the scene.
