Police have named the 29-year-old woman who died in a four-wheel-drive 4WD accident near Mosgiel on Friday night as Roberta (Bobbi) MacDonald, of Mosgiel.
Senior Sergeant Brian Benn said the woman and her husband, Quentin, were looking at a section they had recently bought in a subdivision off Fairmile Dr, above Kinmont, when the vehicle slid on the wet, greasy paddock, hit a drainage ditch and rolled about 8.30pm.
The husband was "severely traumatised" by the accident, police said.
