A woman has been taken to hospital with minor injuries after a heavy truck and trailer and car collided on Dunedin's one-way system tonight.
The accident happened at the intersection between Castle St (State Highway 1) and St Andrew St about 7.30pm.
The bonnet and the back right-hand side of the car were badly damaged, with police clearing glass and debris from the road.
A fire service member said the woman taken to Dunedin Hospital had been driving the car.
Castle St has been temporarily blocked off between St Andrew's St and Anzac Ave, with vehicles having to use a detour
